they are either lying about it being safe, or they are lying that it's a precaution. One way or another the government is lying. From a PR perspective, the government gets really low marks on this one. My suspicion is that withdrawing tallow from the soap and candle market is completely ridiculous, over the top and aimed at fear mongering.
