The more I think about it, it is probably some version of a firewall that is added to your settings. I've been having some problems with the Datek streamer through Zone Alarm. I have set all my IE settings to the highest security through the Tools, Internet Options and shut off the ZAP firewall, leaving only the crummy MSFT firewall and Pest Patrol On the ShieldsUp page which tests your system's vulnerability, I get a perfect reading and my Streamer is working fine. In case anyone has not used that test page, I recommend it highly. grc.com Go figure.
