This has been a good buy and hold year, i.e. what mutual funds. Traders are short term flippers.

I know more than 30 traders and not one has let me see their brokerage statement yet. So we both know about the same about their actual performance this year. I think we'll both agree that traders tend to be natural born liars (no insult intended, just human nature).

Everyone forgets that no one believed the rally for months and fought it tooth and nail. It's human nature to recall the upside the last few months but forget to do the YTD math.
