Good grief. We fought Germany because they invaded other countries Funny, I thought we fought Germany because they declared war on the US on December 11th, 1941.. We liberated France from German occupation. France, in 1944? Yes.. But French North Africa in 1942? There were no Nazi troops in French N. Africa occupying those territories.. Just French soldiers..
