Gosh, sorry, call me Mr. Negative.

New Years Resolution - nothing but positive hopeful posts in 2004....but as this is still 2003 let me at least finish with a losing trend, namely that we've got to see a correction soon...

Take a look at Gallemore's charts
chartingyourfutures.com

Particularly the metals and the stock market members of the chart collection and their trend indicators....I've never seen trend indicators stay up so high so long....Look at the S&P stuck virtually on the roof....Gold and Silver not far behind...Copper has taken to gapping higher...(Prices continue higher momentum continues to build...not top, YET)

Now there is no doubt in my mind what the trend is and that the fundamentals support higher prices and that the dollar will likely never have another up week....BUT COME ON...what big fundamental happening do we have in a day and one half....THE END OF THE YEAR!!! TAX Consequences!!!

I still expect a correction of some sort as the New Year opens in those markets that seemingly can go no where but up....Tuesday I start chipping out some longs....If we run far enough I may be 75% in cash at Year's end...

But then as mentioned as the new year begins....I'm Mr. Positive - New Highs forever.....after a correction....

(If 2004 can be half as profitable with my new 'postive' attitude....everything comin' up roses....as 2003 was....hey, I'll be a happy camper....)
