Pilots with guns are not enough. Armed guards inside planes. As the "security" measures to keep the ignorant masses on their tip toes are now part of the landscape, now we will have to have armed guards inside planes.

1) Imagine you stand up to go to the loo and have to be escorted.

2) Armed guard catches you with your mobile on. handcuff you and throw you in the luggage compartment.

3) 3AM an intercontinental flight, you're waken up lights are on, change of guard. Half asleep guards pass to the fresh shift.

4) Italian, French and Spanish -the usual crowd- armed guards on strike during next year's Summer Olympics!

5) Complain loud about the food but don't wave that fork too wide or you end up handcuffed in the luggage compartment.

6) Why not have citizens armed inside the plane? The National Rifle Association certainly would champion this oneL Right to bear arms inside US planes which are considered US territory anyway.

7) I wonder if they have armed guards on those schools where the kids once in a while go on a shooting spree.

No need to try making sense of this, after all is Bush's policy :-)
