well, to the casual observer your friends seem like a bunch of paranoid deranged lunatics.

If the bush white house didn't think there was going to be some sort of nationalistic reaction to the "evil superpower US" barging into Iraq, killing Saddam's two sons and putting it on TV, and later humiliating Saddam on TV, they need their heads examined. The people shooting at US forces probably were never "terrorists"- until now. Even now they are not likely to be associated with the sophisticated Al Quida network.
