If the bush white house didn't think there was going to be some sort of nationalistic reaction to the "evil superpower US" barging into Iraq, killing Saddam's two sons and putting it on TV, and later humiliating Saddam on TV, they need their heads examined

Your evident love and respect for a man who, among other things, tortured and murdered political opponents, caused the gassing of civilians, invaded two countries with the resulting death, murder, rape and pillage affecting hundreds of thousands of people, set fire to Kuwaiti oil wells causing an ecological and biological disaster of untold proportions, encouraged and allowed his sons to engage in rape and torture of young women, and completely suppressed human rights, women's rights, and religious and ethnic equality in a country the size of California, is really amazing to me. Apparently only Americans are entitled to "inalienable" rights such as those set forth in our nation's founding documents. These human rights are only universal so long as we do nothing to cause them to actually happen.
