Aren't we just back to some form of stagflation then (my take)..

The apparent to some (and me) deteriorating US jobs outlook fits that no ? All things being equal though (which of course they aren't) I'd say the Chinese or Indians will continue to be happy to work with tighter margins and lower pay, having on the whole less to start with relative to us NA folk....

simplistic but works for me so far..

EDIT OK further on you are saying stagflation
