The economy slipped into recession during the third quarter of 2000. The Nasdaq composite went from 5100 in March 2000 to under 3000 BEFORE Bush took office. Job losses lagged that growth and equity slowdown, as they always do (you could look it up but you are too lazy to do that).
PC Police. You are under arrest. Citing politically incorrect facts to a True Believer. All True Believers know that the economy was BOOMING right up until GWB took office when it suddenly tanked because everybody hates him. Citing the fact that the Fed started raising interest rates in 1999 to contain the bubble will get you Life Without Parole.
