Mr. Serge Bonnet reports
ILI TECHNOLOGIES CORP. COMPLETES PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT FOR CARLETON PRESSURE TECHNOLOGY DIVISION.
(ILI-V)ILI Technologies has entered into a product development agreement with Global Identification Technologies North America Inc. for supplying software products to the pressure technology division of Carleton Technologies Inc.
Carleton Pressure Technology is a world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative composite vessels for self-contained breathing apparatus devices for aircraft, marine and launch-vehicle applications. Carleton was founded in 1955 as Carleton Aviation. Since then the company has progressed to become Carleton Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cobham, located in Wimborne, Dorset, England. Cobham is a consortium of companies supplying products and services to the aerospace and defense industries worldwide.
Global ID is an international leader in the development and implementation of complete RFID solutions. The company is headquartered in Granges, Switzerland. Through its offices worldwide, Global ID provides comprehensive solutions in the security, health, transportation and manufacturing industries.
ILI Technologies Corp. has developed for Global ID and Carleton an automatic RFID tagging system. It is being implemented at Carleton's Westminster, Md., manufacturing facility. The system will be sold to Carleton's customers to assist in inventory management, asset tracking as well as maintenance, certifications and inspections. It will add value and state-of-the-art technology to Carleton's existing composite cylinder product line.
All parties involved in this development are very excited for the opportunity to bring this product to market. Carleton in conjunction with Draeger Safety Inc. has already secured a contract with the fire department of a major North American city. This fire department will implement the ILI automatic tagging system for their SCBA's (self-contained breathing apparatus) to assist in maintenance, inspections, certifications and asset tracking.
"We are very optimistic about the relationship with Global ID and Carleton pressure technology division. The addition of this new RFID tagging system in a manufacturing process will significantly enhance ILI's maintenance management and asset tracking products," said Serge Bonnet, president of ILI Technologies. |
