Why not go to the jackasses thread to whine
LOL. You mean this is not it? You're here spouting your RNC talking points like a jackass.
I am not worried about Muslims hating America.
You should be. This is what makes for terrorists. Imagine the hate to fly a plane into a building killing yourself and thousands of others. Why?
...but you are evidently willing to stick your head in the sand while the radicals stick their stick up your butt.
LOL PRO. You know that is a lie. I have been preaching on this thread that we need to get after the terrorists...the ones we really need to worry about...Al Qaeda.
Many in Iraq are proud we are there. Many in Iran wish we were there too.
LOL. (Lots of Lies). Most of the Iraqi people do not want a foreign occupation. Sure their glad that Saddam is gone, but they want Americans gone too. But too soon you forget that Saddam was a republican administration stooge. A guy that got out of control. A guy that you armed and aided in fighting Iran.
And now you want to tell me that Iran wants the US forces in their country too. You are a dreamer Pro. Many people want freedom. But freedom can be brought in other ways besides nearsighted neocon war games. What an idiot you are. You should be ashamed.
Iraq was a nation of terror due to Saddam, too bad you are so blind and cannot see that
LOL, Saddam is your stooge. He was a terror to the Iraqi and the Iranian people, only because of the support the US gave him. He's been effectively contained ever since the Gulf War. But remember, this man, Saddam, was brought to you by the same republican neocons that are the architects of the current war.
...and dividends are already being paid with Quadafi giving in
LOL, Gadhafi is a small player. He's been contained for decades. Sure it's great that he appears to be rejoining the family of nations. Such dividends are helpful, but this is small potatoes in the war on terror.
Syria is thinking twice
LOL. Of course they are. The neighbors just got invaded by the most powerful military on the earth!
But what you fail to see is that these same advances could have been made without the pre-emptive invasion of Iraq. These concessions by Libya or Syria didn't have to come at this cost. How much is the value of our credibility? Priceless I would venture. What is the value of good global relations with our allies, especially in the face of a global war with Al Qaeda? Priceless most would agree. But Bush's policies tossed these valuable and precious assets on the ash heap of the war.
we are stopping Al Qaeda drug shipments in the gulf
This could have been done even more effectively, with out a war in Iraq. In fact we would have had resources to eradicate the poppies of Afghanistan. This is a step in the right direction, but once again we are diverted to the Iraqi side show.
Iraq is being rebuilt We blew it up, we do need to fix what we messed up. So what?
NK grinding their teeth
LOL...NK is rubbing their hands together as they are about to harvest the bounty of their nuclear weapons program and get on the American welfare teat.
You say we are no safer...but you are just telling a big ol lie there.
LOL. We are not safer. We just raised the terror alert to high. Rumsfeld is questioning whether we are winning the war on terror, and so should all of us. Especially after the mass expenditure in blood and treasure to corral Saddam, your Frankenstein from the last neocon misadventures.
Many attacks have been stymied since 911
Yeah? How many? Possibly some have been thwarted. But then we thwarted the attacker that crossed into Washington State from Canada with explosives...and that was before 9-11. No doubt the Homeland is a huge priority for making the country safe against terrorist attacks. Yet the emphasis has been put on flushing out Saddam. Our priorities need shifting with godspeed.
and I suspect even more Al Qaeda killed than even we know about or will ever know about.
Imagine how many more of the bastards would be gone right now, had the administration focused on Al Qaeda?
Your problem is that your sense of priorities has been bastardized by the neocon nonsense and lies. You cannot see the truth of the situation because you are all absorbed in the rhetoric of this administration. Sure we can shake up the game with military might. Imagine what we can accomplish with a little more intelligent use of resources?
So far I give Bush a D-, about the same as he graduated from Yale with.
