Well, I'm a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but mine differs from yours on Phillips. I believe he was and is a moderately conservative individual who has remained fairly constant in his views. What's changed is the country. He used to fit comfortably within the then Republican Party. But the current party bearing that name is a grotesque perversion of its former self, and Phillips no longer fits. JMO lurqer
