Now my next hope is that some here would have a suggestion on Spam Management. ... I'm currently getting over 100 unwanted and unsolicited messages per day.

I am in the same league. Currently I rely on the filtering capabilities of Webmail providers,
Yahoo! mail.yahoo.com
GMX gmx.de
FreeMail freemail.de
They all do a decent job.

You can also use an email account by a company specialized on spam fighting, SpamCop ($30/year):
mail.spamcop.net
You can either continue to use your old address or switch to a new one.

For posting on Usenet or other very public places I like SpamGourmet. This free service offers self-disposable email addresses.
