DJ, <<work-free/holidays fall on weekends in 2004>> ... major bummer!

In my case:
Holidays January 1st (Thu)
Vacation January 13-25 (Tue-Sun)
Holidays:
- April 5 Mon
- April 9-12 Fri-Mon
- May 1-7 Sat-Fri - China shutdown
- May 26 Wed
- June 22 Tue
- July 1 Thu
- Sept 29 Wed
- Oct 1-7 Fri-Thu China shutdown
- Oct 22 Fri
- Dec 27 Mon
- 29 days plus all 52 pairs of Saturdays and Sundays, totaling to 133 days, 36% of the year !

Throw in the rest of January through May for SARS, and gad, a summer vacation and a Christmas trip, I can lead the Trinidad life style in Hong Kong ;0/

It would be better still if I was on someone's payroll :0(

What is my favorite three letter combination in the world? Oh, yes, 'NEM' :0)

Now perhaps you can see why I am so very suspicious of the sustainability of the Chung Hom Kok Beach Bum Economy, that variation of the CNBC Housing Economy.

Have a healthy and prosperous 2004, Jay
