Using sanctions against a dictatorial/totalitarian regime is like using chemo-therapy against the Ebola virus..

Did the economic sanctions not work with Gaddafi? Did he not agree to PanAm flight retribution before the US military adventure into Iraq? And with his WMD and nuclear program, have we found anything substantive as yet? Agreeing to let inspectors in and finding something substantive are two different things. I hope you are tracking the storm brewing between the US and the International Atomic agency on the composition of the inspectors for Libya. The world knows that the US is not capable of handling multiple military fronts to include Iraq, Iran, N. Korea and now the latest Libya. So the US has to go with the International agency and not risk another confrontation with the world community.

And the American voter surely is smart and intelligent enough to reason that out also. You think Bush is capable of figuring that out?
