I'm researching this corner right now.. there must be a boatload of small to midcap firms with good fundamentals out there. I see a huge valuation gap between domestic and foreign oil assets however the output - oil - is a commodity - with ONE PRICE for each grade (you know the "law of one price" is what denotes the boundaries of a distinct market. if ´there is one world price then it is a world single market) - yet the producing assets are valued so much differently - US and Canadian assets up to a 500% premium to oversea's assets.. unbelievable...
