I suggest you just put people on IGNORE if you don't like any topic under discussion. In this case, our foreign policy is clearly a variable in the equity risk premium so this topic is germane to the discussion of any stock even if you don't agree.

My view is that after 9/11 the equity risk premium will be higher under a Democratic administration than a Republican administration because the religious fanatics that are our enemies will be able to smell the weakness of any American leader that has to put together a domestic coalition that depends on the anti-war left to stay in power. Keep in mind that Kosovo has already demonstrated to radical Islamists that Europe doesn't really have the will or resources to fight them in the long run so whether you like it or not, the onus is on us and a few other countries to achieve whatever peace we can through strength.
