I bought nothing this year for the January Effect.

When I did my screens Dec. 29, I didn't like the few meager stocks that turned up. Some would have been good a few days earlier, but had already turned up.

Midland's January-effect portfolio is performing very well. He bought earlier than I planned to do.

For me, there's always next year.
