OT: TED, The story has survived for so long, that I have forgotten how it starts, and have also forgotten about 99% of what happens. For instance, there was once a character called "precious", of whom I remember almost nothing - except that it had nothing to do with Lord of the Rings. I figured my post was "OT" because it wasn't actually part of the story - and I had assumed that the story (whatever that might be) was the topic of this thread. As far as leaving Bugs stuck on a drainpipe goes for four months, this is actually not that long for truly Great Literature(tm). In The Restaurant at the End of the Universe Marvin the paranoid android got left behind on a planet for a few billion years before he was finally united with his time-travelling owners. Since one of his legs was not working properly, he actually walked around in circles the whole time. Happy New Year (for real this time)... John
