In other words, the government accusation will be that SDRAM and/or DDR were sold at excessively high prices, not RDRAM. In fact, since RDRAM was always much more expensive, that just gives further evidence that RDRAM was more expensive to make (otherwise the memory makers would have produced it instead of being so afraid of overproducing it, as they certainly weren't afraid of overproducing SDRAM or DDR), which undercuts Rambus' claim that their technology was superior. LOL

nowhere have I heard or read anything that specifies what the govt allegations are/will be, other than "price fixing". The unclean hands theory will apply, in that any collusion between competitors (to artificially control market supply or prices, whether up or down), is not only illegal (can you spell RICO?) but also paints the dramurai protagonists of this drama in a light that will impact public image (at least) and the judgement of courts (at most).
