Well, if it's any consolation, the Miranda Warning was instituted to make sure people understand they have a right not to incriminate themselves in a crime and have an attorney present during questioning. The end result was that Ernesto Miranda escaped conviction of robbery, kidnapping, and rape*. I think you guys are at least more likeable than he was (g).
