These are the reasons for the deficit. You want us to stop fighting terrorism, increase taxes halting the economic recovery, and cut spending (also halting the recovery)?

Yes. And I think the "war on terror" is a sham and a pork fest, as was the senior drug package, the energy bill and the farm bill, and most bills passed under this administration.

And the dollar crash is not good for the stock market which affects companies and their willingness to invest in infrastructure and hire. So cutting spending at this point would be a good thing for a recovery. The budget is a mess.
