RE: HBI vd HD

I live in Ventura CA, and we have a Home Base and a Home Depot about 2 miles apart.

The Home Base store has been virtually empty every time I have visited it. Home Depot on the other hand, is ALWAYS crowded. Every other Home Depot I have been in (mostly in the Dallas, TX area) have always been crowded as well.

I have been a Home Depot stockholder for over 5 years, and plan to remain long. Home Base may be OK for a short term play on the "dead cat bounce" theory, but it's not for me.
