Don't know about current use of OpenStep, but I would guess their programmers are quite aware of it.

I was just checking out Parametrics. I was already aware of their port of Lightwave renderer. I understand they are adding modeling and animation capability. Does anyone know if they already have a modeler? Does anyone know if they plan to port all of their products?

If they have a competitive modeler/animation/renering software this is another brick in the foundation. If Softimage gets ported as well...Good bye SGI - hello Apple.
