Acacia Technologies Licenses Digital Media Transmission Technology to NXTV NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--01/02/2004--Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq:ACTG)(Nasdaq:CBMX) announced today that its Acacia Technologies Group has entered into a License Agreement for its Digital Media Transmission ("DMT") Technology with NXTV, Inc. NXTV is a provider of digital broadband entertainment and Internet services to the luxury and upscale hotel market. Luxury hotels using the NXTV system include hotels in The Four Seasons, St. Regis, Peninsula, Omni, Harrah's and Le Meridien chains. Acacia has now entered into 111 license agreements for its DMT Technology with companies in the hotel in-room entertainment, e-learning, and online movie, music, and adult entertainment industries.
