His gaffes are no big deal. His skills are evident. It is long term views, both fp and dp that concern me. I agree with you--he probably wont be the weakest of the dems against bush and if he can get some party support as he moves to the middle(in itself a difficult task) he may make a race out of it. There are plenty of independents out there who really dont like bush too much either. The key to this is a dean homeland security policy and a dean economic policy that wont be seen as ending tax relief to the middle class. So far nothing on this. MIke
