So now we should ignore all legitimate media?? LOL No- but a lot of legitimate media is really bad. For example look at this article dated october 23 this year. Can AMD Get Off This Treadmill? It's a perennial also-ran to Intel in microprocessors, and that's not likely to change. Maybe flash memory is where its future is yahoo.businessweek.com No mention of AMD 64 which was already on fire, while Intel executives are reviving the AMD 64 compatibility issue. Then, 3 months later in an article by the same author, In both microprocessors and Wi-Fi chips, Intel still has hurdles to overcome. Next year, rival AMD (AMD) will roll out notebook processors based on its Althon64 architecture that could outperform Intel's, thanks to AMD's 64-bit processing capability, vs. Intel's 32. AMD lacks Intel's marketing muscle. But it's getting accolades from tech analysts, which will likely force Intel to cut prices on the new Centrino. ecommercetimes.com
