I read the 10Q and it looks like any other recent 10Q (except it describes profits :-). If there's something there, I didn't see it.

Personally, I think the slide today is because of their Press Release, the headline of which read:

Avid Technology Accepts Environmental Challenge

I saw the slide, then looked for news and seeing the above headline the first thing I thought was "Oh Sh*t, they're being sued by the EPA!" Of course, this isn't the case, but you'd have to read the actual release to find that out. Keep in mind that only the headlines might be noticed on the trader's screens.

I ran that headline by a half dozen friends and asked them what they thought it meant, every one had the same reaction as mine so I don't think it's me.
