Diplomacy might of worked, if it was tried. Can't blame the French for Bush's shortcoming. The peaceniks? That's the voice that has Bush reaching out to Iran right now. It certainly isn't Wolfowitz's idea. We need the voices of the left and the right. That's the beauty of our democracy. Then when the president governs from the center, everything works well. If the president goes too far to the right or to the left, he's voted out...usually. Orca
