I was an F.O. Radio operator not the observer who normally is an officer not a grunt like myself. (gg). If you want family members I had 3 bros, all of whom served in WWII and one in WWII and Korea:
1. Navy-WWII: Army-Korea
2. Navy-WWII
3. USMC-WWII--This one received a battlefield commission for capturing a Japanese General on Okinawa. jdn
