You should look at the facts.

Thats what a bunch of people told me on a right wing thread that was masquerading as a moderate thread a few mos ago wrt the 7% GDP.

Laura Tyson was on Kudlow and Cramer last night and she blew the supply siders out of the water on the economy. The fact is trickle down doesn't work and the average citizen is IN NO WAY participating in this blowout economy that the right wing is touting. You saw it yourself in the disaster retail season we had. Its even worse than that because the GDP numbers are likely very wrong and need to be recalibrated to deal with globalization. I am convinced they are counting my offshore contractors, who are *not* my employees, as MY productivity. It looks like the US economy is super productive but the reality is the value add is in India, not here. Mom and Pop are well aware of this not exactly what is wrong with the numbers but certainly that they aren't seeing any benefit. Thats where Deans money comes from.

Bush can collect all the money he wants from wealthy right wing donors. He has pissed off everybody else, by spending all their money. Even my group which are the yuppie types, not low income at all can't stand Bush. He runs the country for the benefit of the very few heads of smokestack industries imho. Thats why the papers refer to him as BushCo.
