You are a lying POS. Hitler was never elected by a popular vote. You need to read the history of Hitler's rise to power. Then you would realize that Hitler, a candidate that never had popular support manipulated the system and made back door deals with other politicians, which enabled him to literally steal power in Germany. This is the exact reason that we need to get rid of the electoral college, because it ignores the will of the people and allows election chicanery to decide the election. The antics of Catherine Harris and the republican controlled state election officials come to mind. So if you're interested in protecting democracy you'd also be interested in getting rid of the electoral college system. It's such a system that can undermine democracy by allowing a person with the minority of votes to grab power. home.att.net Orca
