Bill you are too rigid. The iraq example may scare em but the khaddafi action gives them encouragement. There is perhaps a one time only free pass out there for the old axis of evil folks. That is why we did iraq(stick) and why we just did libya(carrot). There is a window for the NK to decide whether there is more of a future in a starving population and nuke sabre rattling or giving up those weapons for a pass to go the china route. Mike
PS My biggest problem is with all this is that allows the despots to stay in power but in the short term realpolitik and national interest collide in making this a reasonable solution. If they turn out like china in 25 years, it's ok with me, he says reluctantly.
