The pendulum has swung to the right now. Interesting that you wingers keep harping on Clinton though. He must have made a real impression on you. I hardly ever think of the man, nor do I think that he is relevant in today's politics.

It's Bush who has pushed the agenda to the far right with the coddling of big business and the neocon war movement. He has you conned that it's the war on terror that took us to Iraq. You're in the palm of Rove's hand.

Yes the pendulum is definitely swung wide right. The question is how long can it stay there? Which way is the wind blowing? It could come swinging back on any number of cues.

1. Plame case finally gets under way.

2. The trial of Saddam becomes a circus, with slick defense lawyers parading the evil connection between the west and Saddam. Might be the real reason the Saddam gave himself up. Knowing that the trial would be his true revenge. Wouldn't doubt it if they off Saddam before that and claim he tried to escape.

3. Enron case unfolds.

4. Energy commission meeting finally gets opened up.

5. 9-11 commission is given access to the documents it wants and finishes their report.

You see this administration needs to keep the stealthy cover over it's activities until after the election. They'll try to do it that way. But in the end they will pay the piper, as the pendulum doth swing.
