Dean's bad coverage has nothing to do with his media stands, it has to do with his lack of foreign experience, runty appearance, gaffes and poor polling versus Bush. Also, he enjoyed almost a year of positive press until now, right before the actual elections. The press wants a story and no one but Bob Graham has given up yet. A comeback story or two could really make the race exciting. Remember, not a single person has voted for Howard Dean yet. Or anyone else. The real turning point may have been when Kucinich took on the moderator in the NH debate blasting hm for talking about polls and fundraising. Kucinich was right. People want to decide by fair voting, not let the polls, fundraisers and pundits decide. In 1992 80% of Dems made up their minds within 2 weeks of the primaries elections. Therefore even a Dean 20 point lead in NH could evaporate completely by voting day. Stay tuned.
