yeah, multiple time frame analysis is important. my post was only meant to convey the macro perspective (the one in which i find this thread to be primarily concerned with). some of those charts are amazing, imo

obviously, this sort of uptrend cannot go on indefinitely. even so, i don't care to take a (public) stand on whether things will crumble slowly, or if the sector's decline will happen in a waterfall-like, precipitous plunge.

i lost a fair amount of money in the past year by being early in my purchase of otm leap puts on homebuilders and big money lenders.

i might attempt to deploy this strategy again, but with greater discretion. the thought of another worthless expiry makes me cringe.
