Polling consistently shows a majority want more health care benefits.

What exactly is going on with health care in the US? No, that's not the right question.

Let me put it this way: Canadians complain about their health care system. It's costly, inefficient , slightly antiquated in terms of cuting edge stuff. The reason is lack of competition.

US folk complain about their health care: it's costly, inefficient, many folk can't apparently afford good coverage. My guess - the reason is a lack of competition.

Canadian health care costs actually are slightly less share of GDP than US.

So, what's the hiccup in the US system? I know what it is in ours.
