yeah, I remember you pointing this out. Don't you think it would be pretty easy to spark a short covering event to "buy time??" such a rally could be pretty powerful -- as Faber suggests??

Not that I think it would do much good -- just add volatility. Might even be the harbinger of the "global failure" of money expansion -- i.e. failure of expansion to prevent declining economic activity.
