I always pack as much old clothes as I am allowed, weight-wise, to take on the plane when I go to Africa. Then give away items of clothing as bonuses to good performers. Real good sports over there. They pretend to appreciate it. Recall one day in Zimbabwe walking down a trail and seeing a well-dressed guy with tie, suit jacket, and brief case coming towards me. But something did not look right. Then realized he was completely bare-foot! Guess he had not heard about the inexpensive shoes! Things must be real tough in Canada, if Canadians can not dress as well as Africans. And in winter time! But better days must lie just ahead. Read somewhere that a Canadian chap had developed a scoop-tram powered by a fuel cell! If that genius were to install his fuel cell in cars, Canada would be a world leader in technology.
