Huh, DoD feeding fake Bin Laden tapes to El Jazeera? Isn't that kind of conspiracy theory...ish?
Case #1:
IRAN -- 1953
Please recall the efforts by MI6 to feed editorial content to newspapers in Tehran and Ishfahan in 1953 in anticipation of the Mossadegh coup d'etat.
commondreams.org
"But when Iran decided in the 1950s that it preferred Mohammed Mossadeq's democratic rule to the Shah's, the CIA's Kim Roosevelt, with Colonel "Monty" Woodhouse of MI6, overthrew democracy in Iran. Now President Bush demands the same "democracy" in present-day Iran and says we merely "excused and accommodated" the loathsome US-supported Shah's regime."
Putting words in the mouths of convenient and sometimes unsuspecting editors in Iran, words that were written out in London, England, delighted Woodhouse. He could count on a 24 hour delay from his penning the text to seeing it in print under the name of a prominent Iranian policy maker.

After severe chastisement, Don Rumsfeld decided to not open the Office of Strategic Influence. However, he did not fire the PR firms (including John Rendon & Assoc.) that had been hired to do the work.
Recently, Rumsfeld has boasted that the job of OSI was never sidetracked and went on as planned......
CASE #5: Faked CNN Video/ Tapes of bin Laden
I've seen a CNN tape that purported to be of bin Laden, but was plainly someone else who outweighed him by 30 pounds. I can't quite put my finger on the URL for that one, but on the audio tapes, we have the following:
smh.com.au
The bin Laden denial that Western media ignored: khilafah.com
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ In summary, I do not have a smoking gun proving that John Rendon faked the latest purported bin Laden tape. All I have is a plethora of cases where the likes of Rendon, Hill & Knowlton, DoD and the CIA have all been engaged in similar deceptions in the past. Deception is their stock in trade, and they see absolutely nothing wrong with lying to the world. |
