The ONLY posters who objected to the US military action in Afghanistan were liberals. Period. Speaks volumes.

That doesn't mean shit Laz. What matters is how this nation conducts itself. Posters on this thread don't mean shit. Hell the only posters on this thread that say we should nuke the entire middle east are conservatives. What the hell does that say to you?

I'm proud of the what was accomplished in Afghanistan. It was the right action at the right time. I only wish that we would have stayed the course in Afghanistan and brought even more force to the task. I'm for overwhelming force applied where it needs to be applied. In the case of bin Laden that Force should have been adequate to ensure that he couldn't escape. This was a f-up in my opinion.

What part of a 420-1 vote scares you? One lone voice is not to be feared. This is still a democracy. While I do not agree with her vote, I support her for voting as she felt she and I assume her constituents wanted. I admire her courage for standing up for what she believes. I do not see her as a traitor. She may have had other ideas as to how to deal with bin Laden. I do not know. But in a democracy every voice should be heard, and then we forge ahead according to democratic principles. In this case democracy worked and we went after bin Laden.

But this administration fell short of the task at hand IMHO. We should have taken out bin Laden. Bush miscalculated, because if he would have been decisive in Afghanistan, and bin Laden was taken out, and the Taliban routed, the job of taking care of Saddam would have probably been easier. He may have done a Gadhafi.

No sir, we need a president who respects rule of law and democratic principles. Bush has no respect for anything of the sort. And that is why he lied about the war in Iraq.

You should be outraged about this. I am.
