Since we were not under attack from Iraq in the first place, and since we would not be engaged in a guerilla war in Iraq at all if we had not chosen to unilaterally invade and occupy Iraq, it seems foolish to consider a reduced rate of attacks as a big victory -- if indeed it is even true. Thousands of our troops are dead or wounded. Thousands have been killed or wounded -- more die each day. How many al Qaeda have died in Iraq? We are the ones dying in Iraq. We are the flies caught in the flypaper.
