That is, in fact, the key statistic that drives my points.

Here's how the above statistic works and jives:

It's a supply glut that translates into an assault on the entry-level middle-class. The marketplace is global, no longer the USA.

The world is all connected. The following comment further illustrates my point about the shortage for scientists and entrepreneurs, but a glut at the bottom:

China is stepping up their education. We should too.
