But his biggest gaffe today was when he said that he would start to balance his budget in the 6th or 7th year of his Administration.
Don't you just hate it when a politician commits the truth? <vbg>
What the hell are you talking about, gaffe? That is an accurate and sensible response. Just look at how long it took Clinton to reverse the evil destruction of the Federal finances by Reagan/Bush. Seven years. Dean only has one term of Bush 43's criminal mismanagement to try to reverse, but Bush 43 has been three times as destructive to our finances as his Dad and that Teflon Don Ron.
Where is his smile? Remember Carter, Clinton and even Gephardt. He always looks very angry.
You missed the one at the start of the debate? :) Here, have a couple more ☺☻☺☺☺☻☺☺☺☻☺☺☺☻☺☺☺☻☺☺☺☻☺☺☺☻☺☺
*** Dean was surely impressive and he was attacked by all the other contenders except for Kucinich and Moseley Braun.
So, in other words, he wasn't attacked by all the other pretendas..... ☺☺☻☺☺
*** My point is that it is time for Dean to look Presidential like John Kerry does.
Yeah, I agree. Kerry's makeup artist really did a much better job today. I wonder if he's hired someone new? :)
*** And most of all, he does not need to harp so much on his record as Governor. Instead, he should present his plans for a better America.
If America had paid attention to George Bush's record as a Governor, we wouldn't be in the sorry state of hell we find ourselves in today. In comparison to Governor George Bush, Governor Howard Dean was a model of sanity and sober decisionmaking on behalf of the people of his state. :)
Molly Ivins summed it up really well in "Shrub: The Short But Happy Political Life of George Bush". When examining a candidate there are three important things to look at. The record. The record. And, most importantly, the record. |
