Ray, first of all George Bush was not even elected the President. he was judged to be a President. So let us not even go there and insult the American voter bu saying that Bush was elected.

In the case od Dean, he did do a very good job when he was challenged about what he said on religion, about what he said about Osama being captured and tried. He did very well when he was asked the questions even about Bush having prior knowledge of 9/11 and when he was challenged by Lieberman on unsealing his record.

The problem I have with him is that he calls on the Democratic party Chairman to save him from personal attacks. The problem I have with him is when he says that some Democratic voters will not come out to vote if he is not the nominee etc. etc.

There is indeed a Gore vs. Clinton thing going on in the party and Dean decided to jump in headlong and side with Gore. I think he needs the support of all to get through this but primarily it is the support of the Democratic party that he needs first and not that of Gore. Gore was an ass to run away from the Clinton record and and is doing so he even lost his own state of Tennessee. dean should have known better not to tangle with Gore so early on.
