KJC, I am afraid, very afraid, frightened almost to paralysis, ... and so must run, before the others do :0)

I believe the economic recovery is science fiction or a fraud at worst, and is borrowing from the future growth, at best.

The folks seem to believe that (a) USD weakening will augment economy dynamism, (b) fiscal deficit will add to wealth, and (c) debt surge will support prosperity.

I think folks are wrong, because from where I sit, a weakening currency is a sign of bad news before a collapse, and not a source of strength; fiscal deficit results in burdens that slowdown the economy and also making it less flexible; whereas leverage is what allows small shocks to amplify into major bad happenings.

However, we only need to wait a few weekends before the future is revealed to us. I merely choose to wait for the future while sitting on my 'bearish' bets that is bullish on non-USD and energy.

Chugs, Jay
