Ray, Thanks for the clarification on air content. The kicker with burning anything is feeding enough oxygen to the source. I think most folks have seen a fireplace grate turn cherry red after several hours when there's a good draft feeding it from underneath. For that matter, the earliest forging techniques consisted of pumping air through charcoal. It might be more technically correct to say there wasn't enough oxygen in the WTC to melt steel and ignore the kerosene all together, with the evidence being the black smoke, which only forms in low temperature, oxygen poor conditions. The whole thing has turned into an absurd word game. BUSH CARTEL: The steel melted because it was exposed to JET FUEL!!! PROPAGANDA DEBUNKERS: Jet fuel is kerosene and it doesn't get that hot.
