Well, here's a thread I'd never think to find here. You are on the hot list and already have 9 bookmark ladies.

Hope you don't mind my chiming in. Lots of professional makeup artists like Laura Mercier's translucent powder. It is very light and extremely fine. I buy LM at Saks. The actual makeup bases she makes have too much titanium oxide for me so I use Chanel but I am looking for a new one.

My daughter was recently fired from her job as personal assistant to the two women who run Benefit cosmetics. They are constantly trying to come up with different products. Some are way out there and somewhat bent. I'm a little old for some of their things but I do like a company that names a product Total Bitch, etc. The lipstick I wear from them is called "but, officer". Good sense of humor at that company. My daughter isn't too heartbroken about losing her job there but I am. She unemployed and in DT San Francisco. :-(
