I think we may be ahead of the curve, as I doubt too many other Republicans are thinking this way.

Fed only replaced 6.25 B (a one day) of the 16.25b maturing repo. No permanents at least as of 11:30 EST.

So the outstanding balance (30.25b) at least today looks more toned down. I guess hitting the market with all that "easy" talk over the weekend AND a big heroin injection, would have been too much, even for this bunch.
